Well, it seems only fair that the creator of this critique idea be the first guinea pig in the experiment.
This photo was shot at a recent rodeo that came though town. A bull rider preparing his gear for the upcoming competition.
I love shooting rodeos. It seems that there are always opportunities for good photos. I also believe that the better images are found outside of the competition ring.
I am also partial to silhouettes and I probably shoot too many of them. But I wonder if this is too much of a cliche. Is it a photographer’s crutch or does it work.
Any thoughts?
