The Lucie Awards Photography Magazine of the Year went to Burn Magazine, an online publication created and curated by photographer David Alan Harvey.
It is the first time the Photography Magazine of the Year award has recognized an electronic-only publication. The magazine, which was launched less than a year ago, has already established itself as a leading venue for photography.

Life Magazine Archive Now Available to the Public
A new Google service went online this week offering millions of full-screen-resolution images from LIFE magazine’s historic archive. The archive is available on Google Images, the search engine company’s index of digital pictures. The archive is fill of LIFE magazine’s classic shots by photojournalism icons like Margaret Bourke-White, Gordon Parks and W. Eugene Smith. Search the Life archive on Google.
